• You with your therapist, who you ALONE will have TWENTY FOUR HOURS OF INDIVIDUAL THERAPY WITH and you with your own Recovery Coach check into your own luxury oceanview suite at the Marriott, Singer Island, Florida. 
•  Without waiting, you meet with your licensed therapist, for a 3-hour intake/evaluation in which you share your addiction and life history with not a moment wasted.
• Then a sponsor (in recovery) your coach or coaches will take you grocery shopping (included in the cost), out to dinner included (every night) and a 12-step meeting (every night,) followed by a pertinent Hollywood film (one every night for discussion with your therapist the next day) and stay with you in your suite for the night.
• In the morning head for sunrise on the beach as you meditate, choose a fitness mode (many options) for your morning and complete assignments with your coach's assistance any where on site.
•  Mid-day you begin your 4-hour daily individula session with your therapist.

Life Matters packs more than the 28 day programs offer into 5 days, Sunday thru Friday and an included 2 day reserved return weekend ( A few clients choose after the 5 days to stay in a Half-way House from which there are dozens here to choose from.)

How?

Your program is customized by your therapist on Sunday night following the afternoon intake.

CAUTION:Be aware that most treatment facilities use predominantly certified addiction counselors. These people can be high school graduates with aproximately two years of course work and internships devoted strictly to the study of addictions. Not all bad. Your therapist has a CADC, and a CAP, national and Florida addiction certificates. However, your therapist is ALSO a master's level licensed clinician. This caliber of provider is needed to diagnose and treat any co-occuring or dual diagnosis conditions. Dual diagnosis  conditions are found in the majority of those persons who are chemically dependent. THEREFORE, it is not uncommon for people to leave a 28-day program WITHOUT TREATMENT for their depression, bi-polar disorder, etc. which eventually leads to relapse. There is an optional Monday visit to an addictionologist M.D for medicine if needed, and follow up with the doctor will be scheduled for Friday afternoon on the return weekend.

Included in the cost is a follow-up weekend three to four weeks later at the Marriott suite to soldify your results and gain additional insights and tools, again with your therapist. This weekend is yours alone or with your loved ones ( they work on their co-dependency issues and the family as a whole works on communication). This component is unique to Life Matters and is required to produce our unmatched success rate! Remarkable! There is no other program nationwide like it!

Life Matters treats not only the substance abuse.....which is typical of most treatment centers. They haven't the money to fund a licensed therapist with an addiction certificate to treat both the addiction and it's underlying causes for more than one, one hour individual session per week. So you spend 28 days and only on average get four hours of individual therapy, AND that may be with an UNLICENSED masters level graduate in any graduate discipline! Otherwise, in the typical program you are then in group therapy, group education, group recreation, group meals, sleep with room mates with whom you may have distracting issues, attend twelve step meetings not tailored to your needs but those of the facility (e.g. a single AA speaker comes in), etc. etc.

WHAT IF YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT THINGS THAT WERE TRUAMATIC , and TRIGGER FEELINGS YOU DON'T WANT TO SHARE IN ALL THOSE GROUPS????? Or a group member betrays your confidence? Or you hang out and don't share at all?
